Joe Rothwell is having a brilliant season on loan with Leeds United, and fans are calling on the 49ers to strike a deal with Bournemouth.
This comes after huge demands from Leeds United fans wanting Rothwell permanently, as the on-loan Bournemouth player has been solid for Daniel Farke’s side this season.
Rothwell doesn’t know his future at Leeds but it’s set to be a showdown between the potential of two Premier League sides, with Leeds edging ever closer to promotion.
The 30-year-old has played just under 32 times this season for the Whites, so Farke certainly wouldn’t be opposed to the permanent deal.
Now, it has all been revealed how Bournemouth will handle the situation with Rothwell.

Bournemouth respond to Joe Rothwell interest from Leeds United
The midfielder has already adopted a nickname at Elland Road, with the Leeds faithful calling Rothwell the ‘Championship Pirlo’.
When you’ve reached that status it seems like there is no going back, and Leeds are keen to bring the midfielder in on a full deal.
It was said Rothwell will cost £7.5m for Leeds, as Graeme Bailey has now exclusively revealed to LeedsUnited.News how the Cherries feel about letting Rothwell go for that fee.
“They are open to the idea,” Bailey said.
“What I got back from Bournemouth, (Is around) that ball-park but possibly even less would get him.
“There is an interest there but both clubs will talk at the end of the season, nothing has happened yet.”

How Rothwell can be an astute signing for Leeds United
The 30-year-old has already proven how vital he can be in a Championship campaign, and the nickname of ‘Pirlo’ suits his brilliant passing range.
They say never fall in love with a loan player, but what about two, as Leeds also want Manor Solomon permanently.
Both would be great captures, and Rothwell has shown exactly why in Leeds’ promotion push this season.
| Rothwell’s statistics in the Championship this season | |
| Games played | 29 |
| Chances created | 47 |
| Dribble success % | 61.5% |
| Pass accuracy % | 91.3% |
| Accurate long balls | 67 |
Someone of Rothwell’s calibre would be ideal for Leeds in the Premier League, as there is no reason why this deal can’t get over the line in the summer.
