Leeds United are after three new signings in the coming couple of weeks with left-back and a new left-winger to replace Crysencio Summerville expected to be two of three priorities.
The Whites have staged a summer fire sale of exits and it has seen seven sold, five go on loan and plenty more depart at the end of their contracts. Now, Leeds are lacking in depth despite four new arrivals.
Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, Joe Rothwell and Alex Cairns have come in while Pascal Struijk is back from injury. Two of Victor Orta’s loan army have surprisingly returned in Brenden Aaronson and Max Wober.
But Leeds need cover at left-back for Junior Firpo, a replacement for Summerville and Daniel Farke has identified the need for more goals from deep in midfield, after Glen Kamara’s failure to score for Leeds.

Josh Brownhill scored for Burnley on Monday in 4-1 Luton win
Rewind two years and Leeds had just survived the threat of relegation under Jesse Marsch, and were looking at new signings in a bid to keep Leeds in the Premier League and avoid another relegation scrap.
That went well. But, one player Marsch is said to have wanted was Burnley’s Josh Brownhill. The 28-year-old has spent the last five years at Burnley, having a hand in 32 goals in 168 appearances for The Clarets.
During the 2022-23 season in which Vincent Kompany guided Burnley to promotion, Brownhill had a hand in 17 goals in the Championship from deep in midfield and now, he is in the final year of his deal.
On Monday night, Brownhill continued to remind all why he is one of the best midfielders in the division with a well-taken goal during Burnley’s 4-1 win over Luton Town, a brilliant debut for boss Scott Parker.

Brownhill is perfect for Leeds, but he’s agreed terms elsewhere
Now, if Leeds are to go after a goalscoring midfielder this summer, why look anywhere else? Clearly a player that has been discussed at Elland Road, Brownhill knows what’s needed to win the Championship.
He has 43 goals and assists in 190 Championship outings, and could be allowed to go for a smaller fee than his actual value given his Turf Moor contract. Leeds have got consider making a bid for Brownhill.
But if they are to do so, they must be quick. Turkish outlet Hurriyet say Trabzonspor – who have signed John Lundstram from Rangers – have agreed personal terms with the player’s agent and are set to bid.
