Leeds United manager Daniel Farke could learn from former club hero Pablo Hernandez, as the icon continued his eye-catching start to life as a manager.
Pablo Hernandez has transformed CD Castellon since taking over as their head coach midway through the current season, turning them from relegation candidates to playoff contenders.
The Leeds United legend secured another statement win this weekend, as he steered his side to a 3-1 away win against Deportivo La Coruna, who the Whites famously beat in the 2000/01 Champions League quarter-finals.
Castellon’s latest victory means they now sit fifth in the Segunda Division table, having won their last four games on the bounce, as Hernandez continues to inspire his side.
Daniel Farke could learn something from Hernandez, as the Leeds boss looks to steer his side away from relegation trouble.
Daniel Farke can learn from Pablo Hernandez’s impressive away form
Hernandez’s latest victory means the Leeds legend has an overall record of seven wins, two draws and two defeats from his 12 league games in charge of Castellon.
However, Castellon’s away record paints an even more impressive picture, which is where Farke could learn from the former Leeds man.
Hernandez has led Castellon in seven away games during his short tenure to date, claiming four wins, two draws and just one defeat, for a total of 14 points.
By contrast, Farke has steered Leeds to just one away win from their seven games this season, the joint second-worst record in the Premier League.
While Farke has lifted the immediate pressure surrounding his future with four points from the games against Chelsea and Liverpool, finding a way to win away from home remains the next priority as he looks to steer his side away from the bottom three.

Brentford trip represents a daunting task for Leeds United
Leeds’ dramatic comeback against Liverpool means that Farke’s side will head into their next Premier League fixture with renewed optimism.
However, although Leeds do not face one of the top teams in the division in their next game, things do not get any easier for Farke’s side.
Leeds travel to London to face Brentford, as they look to close the gap on the side who sit just two places and four points ahead of them in the Premier League table.

Brentford have been let down by their away form this season, but they are a different proposition at home. Keith Andrews’ side have claimed 16 points from seven home games so far this season, with five wins.
As a result, Brentford currently sit fourth in the Premier League home form table, behind only Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa. Although this is an easier game based on their overall league position, Farke cannot take anything for granted in a tricky-looking away game.
