Leeds United fans are split over the future of Daniel Farke as they shared their reaction to Vitor Pereira’s departure from Wolves.
Vitor Pereira has now left Wolves after guiding Leeds’ relegation rivals to just two points from their opening 10 games of the season, including a home defeat against Daniel Farke and his Leeds side.
Wolves are currently bottom of the Premier League table, nine points behind Leeds and eight points from safety.
The scrutiny on Farke is beginning to increase after Leeds fell to a demoralising 3-0 defeat against Brighton, in which former player Georginio Rutter shone.
Now, Leeds fans have shared their mixed opinions over whether the club should follow suit and part company with Farke, having watched all of the Premier League’s bottom three changing managers so far this season.

Leeds United fans share mixed reaction to Vitor Pereira decision
Posting on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), Leeds fans were split over whether the club should emulate Wolves and remove Farke after the chastening defeat against Brighton.
One fan predicted that Pereira would not be the only Premier League manager to lose their job before Christmas, as they wrote: “First of many, be a few more before Xmas!”
Former Wolves boss Gary O’Neill is among the early candidates to replace Pereira, and one fan would like to see him come to Elland Road, as they posted: “Gary O’Neill – I would take him at Leeds personally.”
Another fan was concerned that Wolves’ decision may give them time to turn around their appalling start to the season, arguing: “The right appointment might just give them enough time to turn things around.”
However, Farke still has his supporters among the Leeds fanbase, as one fan wrote: “I understand that a large section of our fanbase wants Farke to be sacked, but realistically, what manager is available right now who could come in and actually improve us?”
One fan proposed a radical solution that would not win over many Leeds fans, urging the club to appoint former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag. They stated: “I am proposing an idea, sack Farke before it’s too late and replace him with Erik ten Hag, he is available.
“Remember his Ajax team 4years ago !!!! Unbelievable talent. Get it done. If Farke is still here in January, we are gone.”

Daniel Farke faces a defining run of fixtures with Leeds United
Although there is a sense of gloom around Leeds following the demoralising defeat against Brighton, Leeds remain outside of the bottom three as the Premier League season enters its second quarter.
If Leeds can match their points total from the opening 10 games across the entire season, they will end the year on around 42 points, which is likely to be enough for safety.
Leeds’ next five fixtures:
- 09/11/2025 – Nottingham Forest vs Leeds
- 23/11/2025 – Leeds vs Aston Villa
- 29/11/2025 – Manchester City vs Leeds
- 03/12/2025 – Leeds vs Chelsea
- 06/12/2025 – Leeds vs Liverpool
However, the concern for Farke and his Leeds side comes from the unforgiving run of fixtures which follows their trip to Nottingham Forest next weekend.
A home game against an improving Aston Villa side precedes games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in a seven-day period. As a result, Leeds could realistically have dropped below Farke’s target of one point per game and need to make up ground over the Christmas period.
