Largie Ramazani has led the reaction to Mateo Joseph’s brace for Mallorca on the day Leeds United slipped to a demoralising Premier League defeat.
Mateo Joseph was one of the players who left Leeds this summer on loan after being deemed surplus to requirements by head coach Daniel Farke.
The Spanish under-21 international joined RCD Mallorca on a season-long deal, but Joseph has not ruled out returning to Leeds in the future.
Joseph scored the first goals of his loan spell at Mallorca yesterday, grabbing a brace in a 3-1 win over Sevilla and scooping the man of the match award in the process.
Now, fellow Leeds exile Largie Ramazani has led the response to his return to form, as Joseph also sent a message to the Mallorca fans after the win.

Leeds United loanee sends a message to Mallorca fans
Posting on his personal Instagram account after Mallorca’s victory, Joseph expressed his delight at breaking his duck for Mallorca.
Joseph scored his two goals in a quick-fire period in the second half, as Mallorca came from behind with three goals in 10 minutes to secure a valuable win.
After the game, Joseph thanked Mallorca fans for their support, in a post with the caption: “Happy for my first goals with Mallorca and for being able to help the team.
“Three very important points: thanks to the fans for always pushing me forward, you were incredible. Go Mallorca!”
His goal prompted a wave of support from fans and his former teammates, as they rushed to express their delight at his success.

Largie Ramazani leads the reaction to Mateo Joseph’s brace
Several of Joseph’s Leeds teammates replied to his Instagram post to share their support for the loanee.
Largie Ramazani led this response, sending a short message which read: “My boyo”. Brothers Archie and Harry Gray also responded, with both sending love heart emojis.
Former Leeds fan favourite Junior Firpo also got in on the act, stating, “Let’s go, my son!” and former Leeds midfielder Josuha Guilavogui also declared, “Let’s go!”.
Fans were also quick to send their support to Joseph on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), as one criticised Farke’s decision to let him leave, posting: “Most top-flight goal contributions of all Leeds players this season, but he’s out on loan because Farke can’t manage young players with personalities.”
Another fan hopes that Joseph’s value will increase thanks to the goals, stating: “Two goals for Joseph. Hopefully that price tag keeps rising.”
