Daniel Farke knows how important rotation will be for Leeds United over the next couple of weeks.
Farke was asked specifically at how he will look to utilise the squad during the festive period, in which Leeds play five matches in just 15 days.
Leeds are stacked for options in a lot of positions on the pitch and that should give Farke an advantage over other managers when it comes to chopping and changing his side.
It is no surprise that Leeds have the most goals via substitutes this season when you look at some of the options he has to bring on, particularly in attacking areas.
Largie Ramazani, Mateo Joseph, Patrick Bamford, Manor Solomon and Ethan Ampadu all came on in the second half at Preston North End to help salvage Leeds a point.

Farke drops hint Manor Solomon will start for Leeds
Leeds’ attack at Deepdale was poor until Farke made his changes, and that should be enough for the Whites boss to go with something different against Oxford.
In fact, Farke may have just hinted that at least one of those players brought on will be in the line-up, amid his huge praise for Solomon.
Farke believes Solomon produced his best ’20 or 25 minutes’ in a Leeds shirt after he came on, and if he doesn’t reward him with a start after that, he never will.
The ‘brilliant‘ Spurs loanee was actually handed less time on the pitch than what Farke said but when you look at his stats, that makes his cameo all the more impressive.
Solomon completed three dribbles in just 13 minutes as his close control and pace were just too much for the home side to handle.
Oxford have one of the worst defences in the Championship and Farke needs to make use of the confidence Solomon will have gained from last week by starting. Considering how high the praise was, it feels like his seventh start is on the way.
Solomon vs Wilfried Gnonto stats at Preston North End
Many would’ve had Wilfried Gnonto as Leeds’ stand-out winger this season just a few weeks ago, but he has gone off the boil a tad recently.
In fact, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say Solomon did more in the 13 minutes he had on the field than Gnonto did from the start.
| Gnonto | Solomon | |
| Minutes | 65 | 13 |
| Touches | 32 | 16 |
| Dribbles (succ.) | 4 (2) | 4 (3) |
| Key passes | 0 | 1 |
| Crosses | 0 | 7 (1) |
| Ground duels (won) | 8 (3) | 5 (3) |
