We are only a third of the way through the Championship season but with the international break in full flow, below we rank Leeds United’s eight summer signings so far.
With eight sold including the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Georginio Rutter, Leeds had cash to spend but dire need for replacements. Eight came in, and most are impressing boss Daniel Farke.
But there have been one or two to struggle so far, while Josuha Guilavogui is not considered given he only joined a month ago. Below, we rank the eight summer additions made by Leeds and Farke:

Daniel Farke’s eight Leeds United summer signings ranked
8. Alex Cairns
When he returned to Leeds, Cairns admitted that he knew he probably wouldn’t play as the club’s third-choice goalkeeper. While he may get a run out eventually, he is still yet to represent his boyhood outfit.
7. Isaac Schmidt
Schmidt came in on deadline day and still needs both time, and work. But at £4.6m, he is an expensive signing and Daniel Farke has already made it clear Schmidt must improve in training if he is to play.
6. Manor Solomon
Solomon’s slow start can be excused given his injury nightmare over the past 18 months. But, Leeds felt they would have got a serious player when he joined – but Solomon knows he is still far from his best.

5. Jayden Bogle
Bogle has started all but one of Leeds’ 15 Championship games, with the one absence due to suspension. Bogle started poorly following his move but has since improved, and scored last time out against QPR.
4. Joe Rodon
Rodon has been a rock at the back and the only reason he is in fourth, which is a bit harsh, is because he cost more than two of the top three. But the Welshman has been crucial, and will continue to be pivotal.
3. Joe Rothwell
On loan from Bournemouth, Rothwell was made to wait for a run in the side but since then, the 29-year-old has been excellent. The stats show that Rothwell is adding an extra dimension to the Leeds midfield.

2. Largie Ramazani
Ramazani would have been forgiven for faltering under the pressure of playing in Summerville’s shadow, or the competition out wide. But he has three goals and an assist already, before suffering an injury.
1. Ao Tanaka
Without doubt, Farke’s best bit of business. Indeed, Farke tried to sign Tanaka a year ago and it is clear to see why. The Japan star has been faultless in his eight starts, and at £3.4m, is an absolute bargain signing.
