There’s a lot of noise surrounding Jack Harrison right now, with the Leeds United man finally set to return to Elland Road after spending two seasons on loan with Everton in the Premier League.

It’s been an age since we’ve seen Jack Harrison in a Leeds United shirt. You have to go all the way back to the 2022/23 season to have last seen Harrison in action for Leeds, but we might yet see the former Man City man in White next season.

Going into this summer, it was reported that Leeds United were set to bring Harrison back and that Daniel Farke was considering him as a potential option for his own side going into next season.

But more recent reports have claimed that Everton are looking into bringing Harrison back for a third spell. Needless to say, the news has garnered quite the reaction from fans.

What’s been said about Jack Harrison’s Leeds United future so far?

It’s now being reported that David Moyes wants to sign Harrison on a permanent deal from Leeds United. That would surely go down well with the Elland Road faithful who appear to have lost all respect for the 28-year-old, who’s made it quite clear he doesn’t see his future in West Yorkshire.

Earlier in the year, Harrison suggested he wanted to stay at Everton beyond this season. But the winger failed to impress with just one goal and no assists in 34 Premier League games for the Toffees.

Graeme Bailey recently told Leeds United News that Harrison will either be loaned out or kept at Leeds United again for next season.

Everton fans all in agreement over Jack Harrison

Perhaps unsurprisingly from a Leeds United fan’s perspective, Everton fans are in uproar at the news they could re-sign Harrison on a permanent deal this summer.

“I can’t even express how much I would be against this,” posted one fan. “Offered absolutely nada for two years, horrendous footballer.”

Another added: “Surely there’s better options in the loan market, even as a squad player?” And this comment read: “Let’s hope it’s a zero possibility. This is so Everton if we actually sign the worst winger to ever wear a blue shirt.”

“Thought we were turning a corner,” asked another Everton fan, whilst this one posted: “Woeful decision for a truly Championship level performer as his awful stats back up. Wouldn’t even take him back for free.”

Harrison remains under contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2028.
