With Leeds now circling the drain of relegation ahead of this weekend’s final round of Premier League games, clubs are beginning to look at a number of our players ahead of a summer exit – such as Marc Roca, and Willy Gnonto.
Relegation will mean a number of players could leave the club in the coming weeks and months. So, here is a list so far, at this early stage ahead of the transfer window – of which players have been linked with specific new clubs:
Weston McKennie – Juventus return, Brighton
It will come as no surprise that McKennie is not going to sign permanently. The Athletic state Leeds do not expect to keep McKennie this summer – which could cost north of £30m. CMW say Brighton are keen, but it seems unlikely
Marc Roca – Real Betis
Roca has endured a season full of ups and downs. But the Spaniard will see himself as above the Championship. A report from the Express say that La Liga side Real Betis – who are likely to qualify for Europe – have opened talks.
Willy Gnonto – Sassuolo, Serie A clubs

Gnonto is one that is more than likely to go this summer, if relegated. He is a gem, that has already shown he is a Premier League player, or top tier. Calcio Web say Sassuolo have an agreement to get him. Serie A clubs are keen.
Illan Meslier – Tottenham
Difficult one for Meslier. The goalkeeper has been axed by Sam Allardyce after a poor run of form. But he remains a young goalkeeper with plenty of potential. The Athletic say Tottenham are keen, but he will not be top of their list.
Diego Llorente – Roma
Forza Roma say Llorente is desperate to turn his loan into a permanent one. But, Roma – who may qualify for the Champions league by winning the Europa League final – do not want to pay his £15.6m fee. Compromise needed.
Jack Harrison – West Ham
Having signed a new deal, The Athletic say Harrison is likely to have a relegation release clause in his new deal. With Leicester coming so close to a move in January, interest is inevitable. The Sun say West Ham are interested in him.
