Transfer expert Dean Jones has reported on Give Me Sport’s website that West Ham United and Fulham could look to lure Leeds United ace Wilfried Gnonto to London in the next few weeks – as the Italian continues to seek a move.
It comes after Gnonto told Daniel Farke he was not available for Wednesday night’s game against Shrewsbury Town at home in the Carabao Cup. A game that saw Leeds finally win a competitive match for the first time since April.
The favourites to nab Gnonto’s signature are Everton – and the winger even liked a graphic of himself on Instagram in an Everton shirt this week. Whether or not Everton will meet our asking price for Gnonto, remains to be seen.
But Jones now reports that he has other options. West Ham are said to be considering a move to land Gnonto in the coming weeks, while Fulham are keeping half an eye on Gnonto – with Willian looking set to move to Saudi Arabia.
“He could be an option for West Ham. Everton like him, and I’ve heard him mentioned as someone Fulham have had half an eye on too, while they look to recruit a creative player if Callum Hudson-Odoi was to fall flat,” Jones said.

What a signing it would be for both London clubs. West Ham will be in the Europa League next season and need cover out wide for the likes of Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals. Bringing in Gnonto eases that area.
At Fulham, they have lost Manor Solomon and could be about to lose Willian – even though the veteran has signed a new deal. Dan James has left, returning to us. Fulham are in need of wingers and a move for Gnonto makes sense.
