Tottenham are among the clubs looking at a move for Leeds United man Robin Koch this summer with relegation likely to prompt a fire sale of the club’s best players – and Spurs including Joe Rodon could tempt the Whites into selling.
Koch, 26, is enjoying his best season at Leeds since joining the club from Freiburg. But the Germany star is in the final 18 months of his deal. He has stated that his agent and the club have opened preliminary talks over a new contract.
But, that the defender will not make a decision until the summer. Likely because, the club sit in 19th place in the table, and Koch will not want to be playing Championship football. So, relegation will surely see him sign a new Leeds deal.
However, relegation – and he will go. Tutto Mercato Web state that Tottenham are in the race to sign Koch – having been linked before Leeds got him. Leeds could be tempted to sanction a deal if Spurs include one of their defenders.

Tottenham including Rodon in move for Koch could tempt Leeds
Leeds will need to replace Koch, if he goes. Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk are likely to remain at Elland Road even if the club go down – but the likes of Diego Llorente, Koch and even Max Wober might end up leaving in the summer.
So, Spurs could tempt Leeds by including an immediate replacement. Back in 2021, The Telegraph reported that Rodon was a target for Leeds with Spurs open to his exit. Rodon is currently out on loan from Spurs at French side Rennes.
The Wales star’s form has been up and down this season, at Rennes. Indeed, he has not done enough to break into the Tottenham side on a regular basis but there is certainly a player there. He needs a new start. Leeds clearly like him.
So, if Spurs included Rodon as a possible inclusion in a deal for Koch this summer – if of course, Leeds go down and Koch decides to move on – then surely, Leeds will accept. A player that has starred in the colours of Wales of late.
