Tottenham Hotspur fans have made a massive prediction on the future of former Leeds United star Archie Gray following his actions after the Europa League final triumph.
Archie Gray got his hands on the first trophy of his career just a year after leaving Leeds United on Wednesday, when Tottenham Hotspur defeated Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final.
Gray came on in the dying moments and helped Ange Postecoglou’s side hold out for the win.
The victory was particularly sweet for Gray as it came a year on from Leeds’ Championship Play-off final defeat to Southampton.
His brother Harry Gray sent a dig in Harry Maguire’s direction at full-time but the Spurs man was much more magnanimous.
Gray earned praise for consoling Man United players at full-time rather than immediately celebrating and Spurs fans were left impressed by his maturity, labelling him a future club captain.

Archie Gray hailed as future Tottenham captain
Spurs fans had plenty to celebrate on Wednesday as their 17-year wait for a trophy finally came to an end in Bilbao.
Amid all the emotion, some supporters made time to praise Gray for his classy touch towards Man Utd’s crestfallen stars, believing it shows he has captain material.
“100% our future captain,” one fan predicted in a post on X, before another added: “I know a captain when I see (hear) one.”
One fan said: “The way he speaks and conducts himself, can’t believe he’s 18. So good,” while one supporter labelled his actions as ‘class.’
Harry Gray sends message to his brother Archie Gray
Taking to social media after Tottenham’s win, Harry Gray posted a photo of Archie Gray on the television on his Instagram story with the caption: “European champ,” with two love heart eye emojis.
Though Leeds were gutted to wave goodbye to Archie Gray last summer, his younger brother is already making a splash in the first team.
Harry Gray made his senior debut against Stoke City towards the end of the Championship season and some within Leeds believe he will be better than his brother.
Gray scored in the final as Leeds Under-21s won the inaugural National League Cup in April and could be set for a bigger role in Farke’s side next season.
