Leeds United are expecting to see more movement in the transfer market once Premier League clubs return from their respective pre-season tours.
That is according to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth, who reports Leeds are targeting predominantly domestic players this summer and will see more activity once top-flight sides begin to finalise their squads.
Leeds have brought in just two players so far, both of which have arrived from Premier League clubs, with Chelsea’s Ethan Ampadu the first through the door.

Karl Darlow is expected to follow him from Newcastle United this weekend, but plenty more work on incomings is required before the window slams shut.
So, with that in mind, here are three realistic Premier League players Leeds could target.
Cameron Archer
Striker remains a position of priority for Leeds and one player’s situation they must be keeping an eye on is Aston Villa’s Cameron Archer.
Archer is likely to be playing second fiddle at best to Ollie Watkins this season and that is before you consider whether Unai Emery will look to strengthen his options up front.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed prolific loan spells in each of the last two seasons at Preston North End and Middlesbrough respectively, and he should be someone they are looking at if Villa allow him to leave.
Oscar Bobb
Manchester City seem to produce top academy talents almost every year and the next off the conveyor belt is Norwegian youngster Oscar Bobb.
City have shown in the past they are not afraid to loan out their players to the Championship and after an outstanding season in the U21s last term, the next logical step in his development could be senior football.
Bobb is primarily a number 10 who can also play off the right, which is a position Leeds desperately need to strengthen, and his tally of 16 assists in PL2 last season shows how creative he can be.
Steven Alzate

Another position top of Leeds’ list to strengthen this summer is central midfield, and more specifically that number eight/box-to-box role.
Brighton’s Steven Alzate could well be someone who fits that bill, with his ability in possession making him a natural successor for Daniel Farke’s system.
Alzate has been heavily involed in Brighton’s pre-season so far this summer but is down the pecking order in midfield after spending last year on loan at Standard Liege, meaning he could be available if Leeds went for him.
