It’s not a secret that Erling Haaland has a close bond with Leeds United, as it can never be ruled out that he’ll play at Elland Road.
With his dad, Alf-Inge Haaland, making his name at Leeds, it was always certain that the Man City striker would think fondly of the club.
Combine him with a Whites hero like Stuart Dallas, and the pairing are sure to bond over their admiration for the Yorkshire-based side.
Dallas has compared Omar Marmoush to Raphinha, as the former Leeds defender sees a resembelance with Haaland’s strike partner and his former teammate.
So both are thought of by Leeds fans, but what Haaland said to Dallas certainly gave him a weird feeling in 2020.

Erling Haaland’s ‘strange’ Leeds United message to Stuart Dallas in 2020
With Haaland playing for Norway and Dallas still playing for his beloved Northern Ireland on the national scene, the pairing met in quite an odd fashion.
This was before Haaland’s Man City days, as the former Leeds full back might not have been as friendly after Dallas suffered his career-ending injury vs City.
Nevetheless, the two engaged in quite a weird fashion as Haaland muttered a saying which took Dallas back a bit.
Speaking to talkSPORT in 2020 whilst at Leeds, the Northern Irish international found what the Norwegian said was ‘strange’.
“He asked me to swap shirts, so we did it,” Dallas said.
“He then leaned into me and said, ‘Marching On Together’.
“It was a bit strange, but what a player and what a player he’s going to be.
“Hopefully someday we’ll see him in the Premier League with Leeds.”
Well, the jury is still out on Dallas’ prediction, but there is every chance that it will happen.

The chances of Haaland playing for Leeds in the future
It would be every Leeds fans’ dream to see the 24-year-old play at Elland Road week in, week out.
The striker is looking comfortable at Man City but being born in Leeds, Haaland might fancy a late career change to the Whites in the future.
Something recently has put an end to this happening anytime soon, but could be something that creeps up in the latter stages of Haaland’s career.
In what broke Leeds hearts, Haaland signed a nine-year deal at City, which could all but end any chance of Haaland making the incredible move.
Despite this, Haaland said it was his dream to play for Leeds, and if he really wanted to, Haaland would make it happen.
