Leeds United fans are understandably disgruntled on social media following The Whites’ recent form under Daniel Farke and have urged the German to bring one player into the starting XI.
One win in six and three consecutive draws has seen Leeds United wave goodbye to their five-point lead at the top of the Championship, and drop into third on Saturday behind Burnley and Sheffield United.
With six games to play, fans are growing increasingly concerned that Daniel Farke’s side will tail off like they did last season. The Whites managed just four points from their last six games during 2023-24.
Leeds’ drop-off in form has happened earlier this season and it at least gives them time to fix it and finish strongly. But they need to get back to winning ways before it is too late, starting with Middlesbrough.

Leeds United fans want Daniel Farke to finally start one player
One of Farke’s major issues is that Leeds’ attacking players have dropped off at just the wrong time. Manor Solomon has been really poor over the last few weeks, while Joel Piroe has not scored in six.
Piroe lost 16 of 17 duels on Saturday and rotation is required. But Leeds failed to make any signings in January and they perhaps lack a goalscoring no.9 that can come in and replace Leeds’ top scorer.
Dan James will retain his place after his goal against Luton, but it is unclear if Farke will keep Willy Gnonto or bring in Brenden Aaronson. One player Leeds fans want to see start on Tuesday is Largie Ramazani.
Ramazani is “one of the best” wingers in the league according to one Leeds supporter who has implored Farke to hand the £10m signing a start. It would be his first Championship start since December 29.
Another fan said Leeds “need to start Ramazani” just to “freshen things up” and give Solomon a rest, who has looked well below his best in the last six matches. But Farke’s loyalty to his starting players is big.
One supporter feels like the Leeds fanbase need to try and catch Farke’s attention by signing “his name loud on Tuesday”. Ramazani “should have been in weeks ago”, according to another Leeds supporter.
Another said Ramazani “was genuinely are best player” before he picked up an injury in the 2-1 win over Watford at Elland Road. LeedsUnited.News has predicted Farke won’t start Ramazani at Boro, however.
Why Ramazani is actually Leeds’ best winger in terms of numbers
Leeds have four wingers at their disposal, and then youngster Sam Chambers. James is without doubt Leeds’ best winger and Stuart Dallas thinks James has actually been Leeds’ best player during 2024-25.
James has now had a hand in 20 goals for Leeds this season, while Solomon has produced 14 goals and assists but nothing in his last eight starts. Gnonto has 11 goals and assists after his goal against Swansea.
Leeds’ four wingers in the Championship this season:
| Name | Games (starts) | Minutes | Goals | Assists | Minutes per G+A |
| Largie Ramazani | 26 (7) | 739 | 4 | 2 | 123.2 |
| Dan James | 34 (29) | 2533 | 11 | 9 | 126.7 |
| Manor Solomon | 33 (24) | 2092 | 7 | 7 | 149.4 |
| Willy Gnonto | 37 (21) | 1869 | 6 | 5 | 169.9 |
Ramazani only has six, but he has played less than 800 minutes – less than half of Gnonto, James and Solomon. In terms of goals and assists per minute, Ramazani has the best ratio of the four wingers.
