Stuart Dallas has heaped praise on one Leeds United star, naming him the best in his position in the Championship.

Leeds United are still riding high after securing Premier League promotion by followed it up with a resounding 4-0 win over Bristol City on Monday.

Ao Tanaka got the opener with a fine volley before Willy Gnonto latched on to Joel Piroe’s sublime pass for the second.

Daniel Farke’s side looked like they wouldn’t get the goals their performance deserved but Largie Ramazani turned up with the goods as he bagged a brilliant brace off the bench.

Now, should Leeds defeat Plymouth on the final day next Saturday, they will be crowned champions with 100 points.

It’s nothing less than what a fantastic Leeds team deserve and Stuart Dallas believes Jayden Bogle has been particularly crucial in the title charge.

Stuart Dallas names Jayden Bogle the Championship’s best right-back

When asked if Bogle was the best right-back in the Championship ahead of Monday’s game, Dallas said on Sky Sports punditry: “Yeah. For me, for sure.

“I think he’s been outstanding this season. It took him a bit of time at the start of the season, which is understandable, you’re coming to a new club and you’re having to adapt.

“Then as the season went on, he’s just got better and better.

“He’s chipped in with goals and assists and he’s integral to how Daniel wants to play in the system. We know that he likes to get his full-backs really high, we see here he’s getting in and making things happen.”

Dallas has been even more impressed given Bogle had to replace one of his former teammates, the legendary Luke Ayling, at right-back.

He continued: “He’s had hard shoes to follow in Luke Ayling, who was here at the club for such a long time.

“That was always going to be hard for him but he’s just got stronger and stronger. I’m delighted.

“There seems to be, we see the right-hand side there with him, Ao and Dan James and with Brenden Aaronson in there as well, they seem to have a really good relationship. I’m delighted for him.”

How Leeds United can win title over Burnley

With the completely dominant victory over Bristol, Leeds are now just one step away from claiming the Championship title, when they take on rock bottom Plymouth Argyle on the final day.

But they can’t afford a slip-up after Burnley got their own big victory at the weekend as they destroyed QPR 5-0 to remain level-pegging with the Whites.

Both sides are on 97 points but Leeds’ vastly superior goal difference means they will win the title if both sides are victorious. Unless Burnley somehow manage to win by more than 14. Unlikely.

So, Leeds only need to match Burnley’s result to be champions but if Burnley get more points than them against Millwall, then the trophy will head to Lancashire instead.

Whatever happens on Saturday, Leeds will be hosting a promotion open-top bus parade in the city on Monday.
