Back in the big time, Leeds United can once again try to attract some of the best players in Europe, and Daniel Farke may need one or two more to keep his side in the Premier League next season.
The Premier League is becoming ever more difficult for teams coming up from the Championship, with the last six promoted teams having all been relegated in their first season.
But Daniel Farke and Leeds United will hope to break the mould, and after their steady start to the summer transfer window, fans may be increasingly hopeful of a decent finish next time round.
So far this summer, Leeds have signed four new players. Recent reports have also revealed how Leeds United have agreed to sign Sean Longstaff, whilst also agreeing personal terms with Anton Stach.
Could Gonzalo Garcia be the next summer signing at Leeds United?
A recent report from TBR Football have now revealed that Leeds United are among the clubs interested in signing Real Madrid’s young forward Gonzalo Garcia on loan for the 2025/26 Premier League season.
The 21-year-old made three La Liga appearances last season without scoring, but shone in the Club World Cup with four goals in six games leaving him and Benfica’s Angel Di Maria as the joint top scorers of the whole tournament.
Needless to say, he’s a player with bags of potential, and Leeds United fans are certainly excited by the possibility of the Spaniard arriving at Elland Road on loan this summer.

Leeds United fans react to Gonzalo Garcia transfer rumours
Posting on social media, Leeds United fans couldn’t hide their excitement about the news. “Come on Leeds get it done please,” said one supporter. Another posted: “Heard very good things about him.”
A similar comment from a Leeds fan read: “I mean… yes yes and yes again?!” And another posted: “Top scorer in the CWC? This would be mega.”
But others are pessimistic about the rumour. One fan wrote: “Take him in a heartbeat. Looks the real deal, not happening though,” as this Leeds United fan added: “Pipe dream that is. Would love it but na.”
Leeds United play Manchester United in a pre-season friendly on July 19th in Stockholm.
