Leeds United defender Rasmus Kristensen is now in advanced talks over a move to AS Roma.
That is according to Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports Kristensen is keen on the switch to Jose Mourinho’s side, though it is once again likely to be a loan deal.
Kristensen would become the second Leeds defender to make the move to the Italian capital, with Diego Llorente on the verge of returning on loan for a second time.
Llorente spent the second half of last season at the Stadio Olimpico where he made 12 appearances across all competitions, helping them reach the final of the Europa League.
Roma did have an £18 million permanent option in the initial loan deal but saw that as too high, instead returning to the table to negotiate a second temporary move.

Kristensen is one of very few of Leeds‘ senior players not to have been linked with a transfer this summer, and even reportedly informed Angus Kinnear of his desire to stay earlier this month.
In truth, losing Kristensen would not represent much of a blow for Leeds with the Denmark international having struggled to adapt to life in English football.
He made 26 Premier League appearances in total last season and while he did enjoy a late goal surge in the final two months, very much struggled defensively.
Kristensen’s departure could provide significant hope that Cody Drameh will be offered regular first team football at right back next season.
Drameh has been linked with a move to Luton Town and Burnley this summer but it is thought he would be open to staying if he is offered consistent game time, which he would get in the event of Kristensen’s departure.
