Italian outlet Inter Live claim Leeds United will sell Junior Firpo for just £9million in the summer if the club are relegated – with Inter Milan interested. The report claims that Firpo wants to join a club competing in European competition.
Firpo, 26, has been impressing in the Leeds side again after a tricky first 18 months at the club. A string of injuries has hampered the ex-Barcelona man – as well as question marks over his ability to defend. But, recently, he has improved.
Javi Gracia likes to play with attacking full-backs and Firpo has benefited. It saw him score against Southampton and like Luke Ayling, he got into advanced positions on the left against Brighton. He should have had an assist at one point.
But interest in Firpo has emerged this week. Inter Milan are on the lookout and they want to sign a left wing-back to compete with Federico Dimarco. Italian outlet CMW claim that Robin Gosens could be included in a straight-swap deal.

However, Inter Live report that Leeds would only request a fee of £9million in the summer, if the club are relegated to the Championship. Indeed, the report states that Firpo would like to join a club competing in European competition.
Leeds will sell Firpo for £9million if relegated with Inter interested
Leeds bought Firpo for £13million in the summer of 2021 from Barcelona. So, they would be making a loss on Firpo but that will have been expected given his lack of form. If relegated, then he will be one of a number of players to go.
You would expect other players linked with other clubs – like Illan Meslier, Robin Koch, Jack Harrison and more could leave. Firpo is certainly on that list. But this is hypothetical and Firpo’s focus will be on keeping Leeds in the top tier.
