A report from Dutch outlet 1908.nl claim Crysencio Summerville has a release clause in his Leeds United contract that is worth north of £20m – but amid talks with Arne Slot, Leeds are only requesting a fee of £10m for the winger.
Summerville, 21, enjoyed his best season at Leeds since joining the club – despite the Whites suffering relegation. He played 31 of his 40 senior outings for the Whites. But the interest in him is growing as the summer gets older.
FC Update reported last week that Aston Villa, RB Leipzig and PSV want him. German newspaper Bild say Dortmund could use some of the cash from Jude Bellingham’s sale to land Summerville. Now, Slot is keen on the Leeds talent.
Indeed, it is a move that will likely appeal to Summerville. Champions League group stages at the club he grew up at, before joining Leeds – in Feyenoord. Slot has been on the phone and may find a potential bargain in Summerville.
The latest report claims that there is a release clause in Summerville’s contract, worth north of €24m (£20m). But, Leeds and the new 49ers board are supposedly only requesting €12m (£10m). It could see him leave on the cheap.

It seems a bit of a bargain to be letting Summerville go for just £10m. But at the end of the day, Leeds have been relegated and Summerville has only managed four senior goals. Willy Gnonto is certainly the bigger prospect.
If it means Leeds can reinvest that £10m on a player that hits the ground running in Summerville’s place, with Dan James also likely to be back in the fold, then it might be worth offloading him. One to watch as the summer goes on.
