Bloomberg claim that Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani and his company ASER Ventures are considering a bid to buy Serie A giants Inter Milan this summer – with the Nerazzurri valued at a whopping £883million (€1billion).
Radrizzani, 48, is expected to leave Leeds in the coming months. The Italian, who took over from Massimo Cellino, still owns a majority 56% stake in Leeds. The 49ers’ Enterprises boast the other 44%, but that is rapidly increasing.
The Athletic reported only this week that the 49ers have an option to buy Leeds outright in January 2024. There is a belief that it could happen this summer – while The Athletic report suggests a move could materialise even sooner.
Now, it is becoming clear what Radrizzani – a mogul in the Sports Media world – is going to do next. Indeed, he looks set to remain in football as he and ASER look to buy Inter, who are struggling financially and in need of a take over.
The report merely claims Radrizzani is interested, but a move does make sense given his Italian heritage. Whether he has the capital to splash nearly £900million – and then maintain the everyday costs – remains to be seen.

Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani considering bid to buy Inter Milan
The Yorkshire Evening Post have reported this year that Radrizzani’s worth is £3.3billion – getting closer to €4billion. So, he has the means to be able to do it. But does he want to take over a side that are struggling financially now?
It will cost a whole lot more than just the initial fee of buying Inter. Radrizzani will know that. Inter have some big players on big wages – Leeds target Hakan Calhanoglu just signed a deal. So, massive question marks right now.
But with the Italian leaving Leeds soon, perhaps the sale of Leeds to the 49ers will give him that added financial muscle to go and buy a club that clearly, is close to his heart. Why else would you spend almost £900million?
