90Min claim Leeds United and a whole host of other Premier League clubs have missed out after Udinese swooped to sign Bournemouth talent Jordan Zemura on a free transfer – as they look to replace Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie.
Despite being a crucial part of a Bournemouth side that have gained promotion to the Premier League, and since then played 22 times this season – Zemura has been frozen out. The 23-year-old is training with the reserves.
Zemura was part of Bournemouth’s matchday squad in 24 of the first 25 League games this season. The last five, he has not been included. It comes, with Zemura’s contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign.
90Min now claim that despite interest from the likes of Leeds, Newcastle, Villa, West Ham and Palace – he has put pen to paper on a deal with Udinese. Non-English clubs had the chance to sign him on a Bosman ruling right now.
Udinese have taken that chance, while English clubs have to wait until the last month of his contract. Udinese have been looking for a left-sided wing-back to replace Udogie, who will return from his loan and link up with Tottenham.

The left-back issue at Leeds needs sorting. Junior Firpo has come in in recent weeks and performed admirably. But against Palace, it was a reminder that Firpo has weaknesses, especially in defence. Leeds need a sturdy left-back.
Firpo and Zemura come under the same category in that they are excellent going forward and have technical ability. But, defensively, there are question marks. Leeds need to find a player that can do a bit of both on the left.
Zemura is a young, English-born talent that on a free would have been a very good signing. But he is not the answer to Javi Gracia’s needs on the left. Leeds need to find another left-back that will do the job this summer.
