Leeds United’s promotion has seen players connected with the club from far and wide react with the club now back in the Premier League, and Raphinha is the latest to react.
Kalvin Phillips and Pablo Hernandez were immediate with their reactions, while Leeds-born Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland also commented. A player that watched his Father turn out for The Whites.
There are still two more games to play but the most-important job is done, getting back into the Premier League. Failure to have done so this season would have plunged Leeds into Championship obscurity.
A lack of finances, forced to sell their best players again and parachute payments reducing from 45% to 20% would have seen Leeds struggle. But Leeds are back in the big time and Raphinha has commented.

Raphinha posts overnight reaction as Leeds secure promotion
A contender for the Ballon d’Or, Raphinha was in action for Barcelona on Tuesday night as Hansi Flick’s side took a big step closer to securing the La Liga title with a 1-0 home win over Mallorca at Camp Nou.
Ahead of Real Madrid’s clash against Getafe on Wednesday night, Barcelona are seven points clear after playing a game extra. Following the win, Raphinha commented on Leeds United’s Instagram post.
He uploaded a two-word comment on Leeds’ original promotion post, simply saying “come oooon” with two emojis following the promotion after Leeds’ 6-0 win over Stoke City and Sheffield United’s loss.

Why Raphinha could now help Leeds’ chances of survival
Not only is Raphinha a favourite to win the Ballon d’Or – with Thierry Henry backing Raphinha and Cafu suggesting he has deserved it for some time – but he could also go and win the Champions League.
Barcelona are in the semi-finals of the competition and will come up against Inter Milan, while Arsenal do battle with PSG in the other semi. Barcelona will fancy their chances against Inter in the final four.

Should Barcelona go all the way and lift the most-coveted trophy in club football, then Leeds will receive a £10m fee from Barcelona for Raphinha’s exploits. The Brazilian currently has 53 goals and assists so far.
