Daniel Farke is hopeful Ethan Ampadu will be available for Leeds United’s trip to Hull City.
Farke was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow night’s game where he provided a fresh injury update on Junior Firpo, Patrick Bamford and Ampadu.
Ampadu picked up a slight knock in the closing stages of Leeds‘ 3-0 win at Millwall on Sunday during a last-ditch tackle inside the area.

The 23-year-old was down for around a minute before gingerly getting back to his feet and completing the rest of the match, though it certainly was a hefty whack.
Bamford and Firpo, meanwhile, have missed the entirety of the season so far, but are both closing in on their respective returns.

Farke provides injury update on Ampadu, Bamford and Firpo
Bamford completed his first full session of team training on Monday, while Firpo is continuing to train on his own with Farke hopeful he is not too far away.
He said: “Junior is training individually. Hope he can return as soon as possible. Good news with Bamford. Yesterday was his first time back in team training. Good news. Major boost.
“Once you are back in team training you are technically available, but we have to remember he has been out for eight weeks. Definitely not tomorrow. We have to be careful.

“Got a knock. Always question marks with a quick turnaround, but it does not look too bad. Improved a lot in 24 hours. He is Welsh and he should be tough because he’s Welsh.”
Leeds will be desperately hoping Ampadu is ready for the trip to Hull with the summer signing from Chelsea already having established himself as a key player.
Bamford’s return will also be a welcome boost for Farke as he provides another option in the final third of the field, though it will be important not to rush either him or Firpo back too early.
