A massive game is on the horizon as Leeds United host Ipswich Town at Elland Road – and Ethan Ampadu has spoke ahead of the clash, stating there is still time to catch Ipswich and Leicester City.

That could be put right on Saturday, with a win against Ipswich. Such a result would reduce the deficit to seven points, and in the midst of a busy Christmas period, anything could happen. Leeds may catch up.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds ahead of the game, Ampadu says that while there is a gap – the Leeds ace is confident that there is still enough time to be able to claw in the leaders, in what is a freak campaign.
“I think we all kind of find it [shutting down all the noise] pretty simple. It is not the end of the season, I know it is very easy to say. They have got a little bit of gap, but it is not the end of the season,” he said.
“Still a lot of games, lot of minutes to be played. We have confidence in ourselves. To get that right, you have to take each game as it is, make sure the next 90 minutes is the best 90 minutes of the season.”

Andy Hinchcliffe has already spoken about this weekend’s clash. He feels the pressure is on us to get a result. He says Leicester will run away with the title – and it will be between us and Ipswich for second.
