Leeds United have posted images of Ethan Ampadu and Wilfried Gnonto in training for the first time under Daniel Farke.
The Whites shared the photographs across their various social media platforms with both in contention to feature for the first time this pre-season against Monaco on Saturday.
Ampadu has only been in training at Thorp Arch for a couple of days having completed his move from Chelsea on Wednesday to become Leeds’ first signing of the summer.

He will, however, be ready to go against Monaco after spending the first part of his pre-season under Mauricio Pochettino, who is notoriously intense on the fitness side of things.
Gnonto, meanwhile, was granted an extra week off after international duty and made his return to West Yorkshire at the beginning of the week.

The photo of Gnonto was a particular boost to supporters with speculation over his future once again having been rife all week, despite San Francisco 49ers Enterprises‘ desire to keep him.
Leeds have chosen carefully who they post across their socials so far this summer and so it was promising to see Gnonto in action, alongside new signing Ampadu.
Ampadu and Gnonto will be hoping to get at least 45 minutes into the legs when they take on Monaco in Leeds’ second pre-season friendly of the summer.
Both will add an extra level of quality to Daniel Farke’s options having been without several players in the pre-season opener with Manchester United.
Should Gnonto stick around beyond the summer, he and Ampadu will undoubtedly be key to getting Leeds back in the Premier League.
