Leeds United have posted pictures of Sam Greenwood and Luke Ayling in the club’s new training kit on Monday after the duo were among those in attendance for the first day of pre-season – testing, at Leeds Beckett University.
A large portion of the club’s playing staff have returned today, to undergo testing ahead of pre-season. Despite, the club failing to appoint a new manager as of yet. The 49ers are still waiting for the EFL to ratify the club’s takeover.
Until then, Leeds will wait to appoint a new gaffer. Daniel Farke is expected to be installed as manager, despite some reports saying Leeds are making a play for Regis Le Bris – according to French reporter Mohamed Toubache-Ter.
The players who were not on international duty following the final game of the season returned. The likes of Robin Koch, Marc Roca, Junior Firpo and other linked-away players are in attendance. As are Ayling and Greenwood.
Having released images of the club’s new training kit beforehand, Leeds then posted images of both Ayling and Greenwood on Twitter in the new, blue apparel. Testing will be done before a return to the grass at Thorp Arch.

Clearly, Ayling and Greenwood are going to be at Leeds next season. It would have been a surprise for the club’s Twitter to post images that include any player linked with the exit door. International players are back a week later.
The likes of Rodrigo, Willy Gnonto, Brenden Aaronson and others involved in the U21 European Championships will be back later. Charlie Cresswell and the England 21’s have just reached the semi-finals. The new season starts now.
