Leeds United face an incredibly difficult test on Saturday as Daniel Farke takes his side to The Amex to face Brighton, and Peter Crouch has predicted the result.
Leeds come into the game having beaten West Ham at Elland Road. Confidence is back in Daniel Farke’s squad after two successive losses to Tottenham and Burnley, and injured players are beginning to return.
Willy Gnonto and Gabriel Gudmundsson are the only doubts ahead of Farke’s press conference. Gnonto has recovered from a calf injury but was unable to complete training last week after a hernia operation.
Gudmundsson appeared to suffer an impact injury against West Ham. He was replaced by the impressive James Justin, who did well in what was his first meaningful Leeds outing. Now, Leeds go to Brighton.

Peter Crouch predicts Brighton win and expects goals
Brighton, meanwhile, have lost their last two games, albeit against Man United and then Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night. Fabian Hurzeler says it is “nice” that his side play Leeds on Saturday.
Peter Crouch gave his prediction on his podcast this week, and while he thinks Leeds are an entertaining side to watch, the former England striker expects Brighton to win and predicted a 3-1 result at The Amex.
“It is a big game. I do like watching Leeds, it is always entertaining. Brighton were slightly unlucky at Man United, they played well and they’ve scored a lot of goals recently. I think there will be goals,” he said.
“I do fancy Brighton to win the game, Danny Welbeck is having a nice renaissance. I’m going Brighton, 3-1,” Crouch continued, with Leeds having endured a dismal record against Brighton in recent years.
Brighton’s injury list is growing ahead of Leeds clash
James Milner’s chances of a reunion against his boyhood club are small, after picking up a muscle injury following the defeat to Man United. He joins a list of six players who could also miss Saturday’s match.
Solly March and Adam Webster are long-term absentees, as is Jack Hinshelwood who is closing in on a return from an ankle issue. Joel Veltman, Brajan Gruda and Kaoru Mitoma are doubts at Brighton, too.
However, Brighton still have an incredible squad that includes an in-form Danny Welbeck, midfield star Carlos Baleba, England defender Lewis Dunk and £40m record signing Georginio Rutter.
