Leeds United are in action again as they make the long trip south to take on Brighton away from home, but Fabian Hurzeler could be without as many as six players.
Brighton away promises to be a tricky game for Leeds but they face The Seagulls with an extra day of recovery, and come into the clash having beaten West Ham last time out. Brighton suffered a defeat.
Indeed, Hurzeler watched his side suffer defeat to an improving Manchester United at Old Trafford. Brighton were without a handful of key players, yet Danny Welbeck proved again, age is just a number.
Leeds now go to Brighton, a side that Leeds have struggled with over the years while in the Premier League. But Daniel Farke’s side may be boosted by Brighton’s injury issues, with six possibly missing.

Brighton could be without six players on Saturday
They will definitely be without three players. Solly March, known for his goals in the past against Leeds, is definitely missing. The winger is out with a long-term knee issue and will do well to return this year.
The same goes for giant defender Adam Webster, who is also suffering with a long-term knee injury. After surgery, he is expected to be missing until the new year. Jack Hinshelwood has a long-term ankle issue.
Then, three players are doubts. Kaoru Mitoma, Brighton’s £75m-rated ace, is a doubt. He was ruled out of the trip to Man United, but could return to training this week. Joel Veltman is back in Brighton training.
Veltman had been sidelined with what is believed to be a lower leg injury. Midfielder Brajan Gruda is a doubt for Brighton too, having picked up an issue while on international duty with his National Team.

Leeds United’s injury concerns ahead of Brighton trip
For Leeds, manager Farke has a few niggles but less concerns than Saturday’s opponents. Willy Gnonto missed the West Ham game having missed training in the week. He’s recovering from hernia surgery.
Noah Okafor lasted 45 minutes against West Ham while Dan James came off the bench as he steps up his progress after an ankle issue. Lucas Perri was back in goal, while Ethan Ampadu shook off illness to play.
However, Gabriel Gudmundsson came off just before the break and after the match, Farke was unsure on the extent of Gudmundsson’s knock. It seems Gudmundsson and Gnonto are the doubtful ones for Leeds.
