Daniel Farke might not be completely out of the woods yet, but he could be with a win against Brentford on Sunday afternoon as Leeds United travel to the capital.
Mention an away trip to London in the Premier League to a Leeds United fan, and it sends shivers down a spine. Leeds are dismal in the capital in the top tier, losing both games played in London this campaign.
How many points can Leeds get from the next five games? 🔮
The last time Leeds won in London in England’s top tier came back in January 2022, a 3-2 win over West Ham in which Jack Harrison scored a hat-trick. Leeds reignite their rivalry with Brentford’s Keith Andrews.
A game that could see Farke win the trust of Leeds fans to enter January as Leeds manager. Leeds have a poor record against the Bees, but manager Farke has a good one – winning five times in eight matches.

Paul Merson makes Brentford claim during Leeds prediction
Despite Andrews guiding Brentford to 19 points from 15 games and solidly in the middle third of the Premier League table, Paul Merson has told his Sports Keeda column that Brentford are under pressure.
Arsenal icon Merson believes that Andrews has to keep his side winning at home, because of their poor away record. He thinks Brentford win 3-1: “If Brentford win, they will stop worrying about relegation.
“But they are under so much pressure to win home games because of their terrible form on their travels. Leeds have shown great improvement in recent weeks. Both teams will match up the same way.
“But I just feel Brentford have the edge. At home, Keith Andrews’ men are a different team. Even though Leeds have done extremely well to get those four points, I expect them to come up short here,” he said.
What changes would you make on Sunday? 🤔
Eight players could be missing from Leeds against Brentford
Certainly, six players will be missing. Leeds are to be without Dan James and Sean Longstaff on Sunday due to muscle injuries, while Brentford have four long-term absentees that they must do without.
Former Leeds target Fabio Carvalho is out until next summer and will be joined by Antoni Milambo, Josh DaSilva and Kevin Schade are also missing for Brentford – the latter of which is currently suspended.
There is one Brentford doubt for Sunday and that is former Arsenal star Reiss Nelson, who missed The Bees’ last outing. Leeds could be missing Lukas Nmecha, but other than that, are good to go.
