At the moment, it does not look like Leeds United will be in need of a busy January transfer window.
Taking division into context, Leeds arguably have the best squad depth they have possessed in several years following an excellent summer that saw nine players move to Elland Road.
Leeds currently have two players for almost every position across the pitch, though there is arguably one specific role that could do with addressing.

That said, if Leeds are to have a fully fit squad any point this season, there will be some good players who are left out completely, meaning if someone is signed in January, one will have to go.
So, with that in mind, we have taken a look at one player Daniel Farke should sign, and one he should.
Sign – Ilias Chair
Number 10 is currently the position Leeds are lacking most in and so Farke’s squad could do with that extra player who can play the killer pass in the final third.
Ilias Chair is someone who would fit that bill and almost certainly jump at the chance to come to West Yorkshire with current club QPR struggling badly at the bottom.
Leeds had late interest in Chair during the summer but due to timing, a deal was unable to get off the ground.
Chair stood out like a sore thumb from those around him in QPR’s team away at Leeds last week, and it was evident to see just how much he would thrive in a dominant side like Farke’s.
Sell – Joe Gelhardt
Given the early promise he showed in his breakthrough year at Leeds it would be difficult to watch Joe Gelhardt leave permanently, but it just isn’t working for him.

Gelhardt had the opportunity to shine earlier in the season in matches against Birmingham City, Shrewsbury Town and West Brom, but unfortunately, did not look up to it.
As such, he has since found game time extremely hard to come by, having played just six minutes since that third game of the season, against West Brom.
Gelhardt needs to be handed the chance to go elsewhere and play regularly in order to go and fulfil the potential he quite clearly had/has.
