Throughout the year of 2024, a total of 24 players have scored a goal or created one for Daniel Farke’s Leeds United and five of them are no longer at Elland Road this season.
Leeds currently sit in third place in the Championship table and remain on good course to go and launch a fight for automatic promotion places to the Premier League. But improvement will be needed in 2025.
Perhaps, a couple of signings in the January window could arrive to bolster a promotion fight alongside Sheffield United, Burnley and Sunderland. But Daniel Farke has said he expects a quiet January at Leeds.
Incomings might be dictated by which players decide to leave, with Joe Gelhardt and Max Wober the two most-likely to depart. Below, we look at the 24 players that have either scored goals, or created them.

The 23 players that have scored for Leeds United in 2024
Sitting at the top of the list, which will come as little surprise is this season’s current top scorer in the form of Joel Piroe. But given the way Leeds have shared goals around, he is only on 13 throughout 2024.
Only two others have got into double figures so far and that is Wilfried Gnonto with 12, and Dan James with 11. Crysencio Summerville scored nine goals for Leeds which is impressive, given he left in August.
Joe Rothwell, Ao Tanaka and Glen Kamara are not included, as they have only laid on assists. Five have left Leeds in this list, in the form of Summerville, Georginio Rutter, Archie Gray, Connor Roberts and Jaidon Anthony.
Leeds United’s 21 goalscorers in 2024:
Joel Piroe (13). Wilfried Gnonto (12). Dan James (11). Crysencio Summerville (9). Patrick Bamford (8). Brenden Aaronson (7). Mateo Joseph (5). Georginio Rutter (4). Jayden Bogle (3). Manor Solomon (3). Largie Ramazani (3). Junior Firpo (2). Ethan Ampadu (2). Sam Byram (2). Pascal Struijk (2). Ilia Gruev (1). Archie Gray (1). Connor Roberts (1). Jaidon Anthony (1). Max Wober (1). Joe Rodon (1).

The 21 players to lay on assists in 2024, and the best combined
A further 20 players have laid on assists, with Pascal Struijk the only Leeds player during 2024 to have scored without creating another. Rutter is joint-first, despite his £40m transfer to Brighton in August.
Rutter laid on eight during the second half of last season and then one on the opening day during the 3-3 draw against Portsmouth. Only Junior Firpo has been able to match Rutter’s record of a massive nine.
Leeds United’s 21 players to lay on an assist in 2024:
Georginio Rutter (9). Junior Firpo (9). Wilfried Gnonto (7). Joel Piroe (7). Dan James (6). Crysencio Summerville (3). Mateo Joseph (3). Manor Solomon (3). Brenden Aaronson (2). Patrick Bamford (2). Jaidon Anthony (2). Sam Byram (2). Glen Kamara (2). Joe Rothwell (2). Ethan Ampadu (1). Jayden Bogle (1). Ilia Gruev (1). Archie Gray (1). Connor Roberts (1). Largie Ramazani (1). Ao Tanaka (1)
Interestingly, Patrick Bamford features on both lists pretty high up despite failing to start a league game this season or either score or assist. Perhaps, he will get more of a chance in the new year under Farke.
The players to get 10 goals and assists or more in 2024:
| Name | Goals | Assists | Combined |
| Joel Piroe | 13 | 7 | 20 |
| Wilfried Gnonto | 12 | 7 | 19 |
| Dan James | 11 | 6 | 17 |
| Georginio Rutter | 4 | 9 | 13 |
| Crysencio Summerville | 9 | 3 | 12 |
| Junior Firpo | 2 | 9 | 11 |
| Patrick Bamford | 8 | 2 | 10 |
Above, is Leeds’ top-five contributors in both goals and assists throughout 2024 and it will be a concern that two of the seven players to get more than 10 have left Leeds, while Junior Firpo is out of contract.
