The former Leeds player does not think that Ayling had a good game for Middlesbrough.

Well, Middlesbrough took on Sunderland at the Riverside Stadium in the Championship on Sunday afternoon.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Boro went ahead on 61 minutes when Marcus Forss took hold of a scuffed effort and fired it beyond Anthony Patterson.

Nazariy Rusyn restored parity for Sunderland on 83 minutes. Jack Clarke found him with a brilliant pass from the left, and the 25-year-old scored past Tom Glover at the near post.
Luke Ayling started the match for Middlesbrough. The Leeds United-owned played was deployed as a right-back.
Ayling, who joined Middlesbrough on loan from Leeds in the January transfer window, came up against Clarke, who started as the left-winger for Sunderland.

Ayling made eight starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds before his loan move to Middlesbrough. The 32-year-old scored one goal and gave one assist in those games.
The Englishman has played three times in the Championship for Boro.
