The Guardian claim Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is an admirer of Mauricio Pochettino but the Argentine is not interested in a move to Elland Road at this time – despite remaining out of work after leaving PSG last summer.
Pochettino, 50, is considered one of the best managers currently on the market. It comes after starring at Espanyol and then winning 23 times in 60 games as Southampton boss. It earned Pochettino a Tottenham move – lasting five years.
A Champions League final and establishing Spurs as a regular top-four club on a limited budget saw Pochettino shine in the Spurs job. He then moved to PSG, one of his former clubs from his playing career, winning 55 games in 84.
Replaced by Christophe Galtier at the end of last season, “world class” Pochettino is yet to find himself a new club. Tottenham could be an option with Antonio Conte’s future up in the air. This summer could see Pochettino return.
The Guardian reports that Leeds are interested and Radrizzani is an admirer. Pochettino is renowned for his faith in Marcelo Bielsa, after Bielsa brought him through at Newell’s. But, Pochettino is not keen on a move to Elland Road.

Pochettino would be a wonderful appointment. The lure of the size of Leeds, and his admiration of Bielsa, may see him view the Leeds job as intriguing. But realistically, Pochettino is a Champions League boss. He is above Leeds right now.
Plenty of clubs could look to change their manager this summer. A number of Italian clubs – Juventus, Inter and Milan – could change bosses. Bayern;s Julian Nagelsmann is under pressure. So there are big sides that Pochettino could join.
Even a return to Spurs if Conte goes. But Leeds are below him. Simon Jordan said there is no chance he joins Leeds, even if Pochettino was offered a £10million bonus for keeping us up. Andoni Iraola remains the front runner.
