Performance analyst Jordan Davison and goalkeeping coach Marcos Abad both left Leeds after the appointment of Daniel Farke as manager – but today, both were confirmed at new clubs; in the form of Newcastle and West Brom.
Farke has brought a number of new coaches after his move to Elland Road, having left Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer. Davison, who worked from U16 to senior level, was confirmed as leaving Leeds after Farke came in.
Meanwhile, Abad has left Leeds after a number of years at the club – joining even before Marcelo Bielsa walked in through the door. He has worked with Kiko Casilla, Illan Meslier, Bailey Peacock-Farrell and other shot-stoppers.
Having been on the coaching staff alongside fellow Spaniard Carlos Corberan, the West Brom gaffer has raided us to take him to The Hawthorns. They reunite for the first time since Corberan left, to join Huddersfield as manager.
Davison, meanwhile, returns home. He will be working with Newcastle United’s Under-21 side, at least initially. It comes after the performance analyst was told his time at Leeds had come to an end last month, posting on Twitter.

It is a nice move for both. Davison goes back to where he is from, rejoining a team he used to play for during his childhood years. For Abad, he gets to go to a side where he will be working alongside old Leeds coach Corberan.
Abad will be on the Elland Road pitch very soon. Leeds play host to West Brom on August 18, the third game of the season. Davison, meanwhile, stays in the Premier League despite relegation last season. Leeds have replaced both.
