Performance analyst Jordan Davison has taken to Twitter on Wednesday to confirm he is leaving Leeds United after the appointment of Daniel Farke as the club’s new manager – and Jesse Marsch‘s assistant Rene Maric has reacted.
Farke, 46, was finally installed as the club’s new manager after weeks of speculation surrounding the managerial position at Elland Road. Patrick Vieira, Scott Parker, Carlos Corberan, Regis Le Bris and others bosses been linked.
The German comes in after a season at Gladbach, but has been appointed more because of his form in the second tier. In four years at Norwich, he won the Championship twice. Now, he is back in England, tasked with taking us up.
Farke is bringing in his own backroom staff and might be appointing new analysts, judging by Davison’s exit. The first-team analyst took to Twitter to confirm his exit. Marsch’s no.2 at Leeds, Maric, replied with his own message.

Change is happening at Leeds. A takeover at the top, a new team to sort out the future of Leeds – at least to begin with, in Nick Hammond – and now, a new manager. He is bringing in in his own team and that may include analysts.
It is what Leeds needed. A complete reset from the era of Andrea Radrizzani, Victor Orta, Marcelo Bielsa and then Marsch. An era which was a slippery slope and ended in Sam Allardyce. Farke restores optimism ahead of 23-24.
Can Leeds get promoted at the first attempt? Absolutely. But, there are going to be a number of factors – which of the players we want to keep, can we keep? Can we make the right signings? All will be revealed in the next months.
