Mateusz Klich has aimed a brutal wordless dig at Max Wober’s comments following his departure from Leeds United on Monday.
Klich was replying to a Leeds supporter on Twitter who published a quote of Wober’s from his first interview as a Borussia Monchengladbach player.
Wober sealed his temporary move to the Bundesliga yesterday afternoon in what is arguably the most sour tasting of all the loan departures of the summer.
The 25-year-old had reportedly told Leeds bosses he was ready to stay and fight this season but once interest from Monchengladbach arose, he made his desire to leave clear.
Despite having only joined from Red Bull Salzburg in January, Wober is the sixth player to leave on loan so far this window, following Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Brenden Aaronson, Marc Roca and Rasmus Kristensen.

Klich sent his response to Wober’s exit on the back of a quote that emerged in an interview with Monchengladbach’s media team, in which he labelled himself as a ‘fighter’ and a ‘warrior’.
He said: “It is an extremely attractive task that I am really looking forward to. I am a fighter, and a warrior on the field.”
Klich and Wober’s time at Elland Road only overlapped very briefly, with the former’s final game for the club against West Ham the first time the Austrian was paraded to the crowd.
Clearly, though, from what Klich saw of Wober, he does not agree with the way the defender has portrayed himself, responding in a way only he would.
Given the frustration towards Wober surrounding his exit, as you can imagine Klich’s response has gone down well among the Leeds contingent, with the Pole still very much a fan favourite in West Yorkshire.
