Mateusz Klich will be fondly remembered as a cult hero at Leeds.
The Pole made 195 appearances for Leeds during his time at Elland Road – well over 100 more than he has amassed for any other club – and helped the Whites finally return to the Premier League in 2020.
Mateusz Klich helped make it happen under another Leeds hero in Marcelo Bielsa – who he has now spoken about during an interview with ALFA FOOTBALL.
Mateusz Klich names Marcelo Bielsa as the greatest manager he’s ever had
The Poland international took part in a game of quick-fire questions, and displayed no hesitation whatsoever when asked to select the best manager he’s ever had.

The king of winding players up!
Klich swiftly said: “Marcelo Bielsa.”
The 35-year-old scored 22 goals and provided 21 assists in his 157 appearances under the Argentine, and was arguably one of the best players at Leeds during the South American’s time in Yorkshire.
It seemed the feeling was mutual, as Bielsa once memorably claimed that Klich “can play in all the best teams in the world” – lofty praise indeed.
Despite the pair both being a thing of the past at Leeds now, it is nice to see the Cracovia No.43 keep the 70-year-old in mind when asked to reflect on the best influences throughout his career.
Leeds United players may have a chance to reunite with Marcelo Bielsa in March
With ‘El Loco’ in charge of the Uruguay national team, it is hard for him to ever be on these shores to reunite with some of his old Leeds players.
Leeds United legend Marcelo Bielsa could be on the market after the World Cup. Is the time right for him to come back to Elland Road?
However, Bielsa is coming back to England in March for a friendly clash between Uruguay and the Three Lions during the international break, meaning those not called up by their respective nations will be able to head to Wembley and potentially catch up with the Leeds legend.
Hopefully, any Leeds fans in attendance at that game will also make sure to show him some affection, either in the way of a chant or a banner.
Bielsa is going through a tough time with Uruguay right now amid rumours of a mutiny in the squad, so it would be nice if Leeds fans or one of his former players were able to show him a bit of love.
