Coventry City manager Mark Robins has previewed his side’s trip to Leeds United.
Robins has come under some pressure at the Sky Blues after a poor start to the season, which has seen them lose three of their opening six matches ahead of the clash at Elland Road.
However, all three of those defeats have been by a single goal. Coventry also took four points from Leeds last season as they nullified much of the threat from now departed key duo Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.
Even after last weekend’s 2-0 win at Cardiff City, Leeds come into this game under pressure. Many felt underwhelmed by the performance in South Wales, with Leeds fans actually heard booing during the game.
Farke also drew criticism for Leeds’ performance in their last game at home, when Burnley inflicted their first defeat of the season. As such, a reaction is needed.

Robins shares Ben Sheaf update ahead of Leeds vs Coventry
Leeds are set to be without Manor Solomon, Dan James and Max Wober for tomorrow’s game, while a late decision will also need making on Pascal Struijk.
However, Coventry boss Robins had a far more positive injury update to bring on one of his key players Ben Sheaf in his pre-match press conference today.
Sheaf has not made a single appearance in the Championship so far this season, though was back on the bench for last weekend’s defeat to Swansea City.
Robins hinted Sheaf could well be fit to start at Elland Road after a full week of training under his belt this week.
He said: “Ben’s trained all week and with every day that goes by he is closer to the team, so that’s a real positive and has been for a while.
“Last week against Swansea I think we needed to try to get back into the game after going two goals down pretty quickly, and I was trying to make more attacking changes to the game which meant that I decided not to bring him on.
“Although, I could have done with bringing him on to give him some minutes in the game, but I think that he understood that, and we have had this week to do more work with him to get him closer.”
Coventry dealt Jamie Allen blow ahead of Leeds
It was not all good news for Coventry from Robins’ presser, though, as he shared a sad update on the fitness of Sheaf’s fellow midfielder Jamie Allen.
Allen was subbed off after just 24 minutes against Swansea last week and as a result, now faces a ‘significant’ period on the sidelines.
He said: “Jamie has a medial collateral ligament injury and will be out for a significant amount of time, probably going to be eight to ten weeks. It’s a setback for Jamie as well as us.
“He’s been through quite a torrid 12 months with various issues, and he doesn’t do anything by halves. If he has an issue, it’s an issue.”
