Luke Humphries has secured his place in the final of the PDC World Darts Championship final and the renowned Leeds United fan has sent a message to Elland Road supporters on Twitter, today.
In what has been an incredible edition of the PDC World Championship, 28-year-old Humphries has already become the world’s current no.1 player – after smashing Scott Williams in the final, winning 6-0.
Those who are not of a darts persuasion will remember Humphries recently visiting the Leeds United players at Thorp Arch, posing for pictures with the likes of Georginio Rutter ahead of the Championship.
Now, Leeds have sent Humphries a good luck message on Twitter ahead of tonight’s final at Alexandra Palace. He takes on 16-year-old sensation Luke Littler, who has come from nowhere to reach the final.

It has been an incredible tournament and with a prize of £2.5m, these two will be battling it out for a huge amount of cash in front of a packed out Ally Pally. Humphries will be the favourite to win the clash.
But, he has never won the PDC World Championship final, but has enjoyed a stunning 2023 in which he won the World Grand Prix, the Players Championship Finals and the Grand Slam of Darts. Great form.
However, it is almost impossible to discount the form and incredibly story that is Littler, who at 16 is battling to break the record books. Leeds fan Humphries stands in his way, come Wednesday night.
Humphries responded to Leeds’ Tweet on Wednesday morning, posting a message to Leeds fans in an attempt to perhaps galvanise those of a Leeds persuasion to cheer him on, when the final takes place.
