Luke Ayling has vowed Leeds United are working as hard as possible to be ready for the Championship opener with Cardiff City.
Ayling posted the message on his official Instagram account after just over two weeks of pre-season under new manager Daniel Farke.
Leeds are set for their second friendly of the summer on Saturday as they face Ligue 1 side AS Monaco at the York Stadium Leisure Complex.
It is the second time Leeds will be facing Monaco in a non-competitive fixture in less than 12 months having also played them during the World Cup break in December.
Leeds were beaten 4-2 at Elland Road in that match and will be hoping for a much improved performance this time around, where they will also look to show more evidence of adapting to Farke’s style.

Having been part of both the side who got promoted and relegated, Ayling will be determined to get Leeds back in the Premier League, in what could be his final season at the club with 12 months left on his deal.
After over two weeks back at Thorp Arch, he wrote on Instagram: “Great couple weeks back!! Working hard to make sure we are ready for August 6th!!! Swipe to see the pain my face.”
Ayling faces another big fight to become Leeds’ first choice right-back this season after fending off competition from Rasmus Kristensen last term.
Youngster Cody Drameh will be hoping he has done enough in loan spells at Cardiff City and Luton Town to now be a regular at Elland Road.
Either way, Ayling remains a big part of the dressing room at Leeds and will no doubt have a big part to play off the pitch.
