Leeds United’s chances of Championship title have just got a whole lot better as Daniel Farke stat emerges

Leeds United can take a giant step towards the Championship title on Monday night with a win over Bristol City, and a Daniel Farke stat suggests they will do exactly that.

That’s all there is left to play for in the final two games, with Leeds already being confirmed as promoted to the Premier League. The 6-0 win over Stoke, and then Sheffield United’s loss to Burnley, was enough.

With two games to go, Leeds and Burnley entered the weekend on equal points but Leeds boasting a much-better goal difference. Burnley have gone some way to piling the pressure on, on Saturday.

A 5-0 away win over QPR has seen Scott Parker’s side strengthen their position at the top, but even a one-goal win over Bristol City will see Leeds go top and have a 10-goal lead in terms of goal difference.

Daniel Farke’s record against Bristol City is absolutely excellent

Bristol City have been superb this season. Liam Manning is in with a shout of winning Championship Manager of the Season after guiding The Robins to fifth place, despite working with a smaller budget.

Monday night will see Leeds take on one of their tougher challenges this season, especially given Bristol City are one of the few sides to stop Leeds from scoring. The two sides drew 0-0 at Ashton Gate.

But Farke’s record against Bristol City is excellent. He has faced Manning’s men nine times throughout his career, six times with Norwich and three times with Leeds – and remains unbeaten, winning six times.

Farke then will have confidence going into Monday, especially at home, that Leeds can go and get a win and remain motivated against Bristol City. Manning’s men will be bang up for it in their push for play-offs.
