Leeds United are one of a number of clubs being linked with a move for AFC Wimbledon striker Ali Al-Hamadi and he scored another two goals on Saturday – taking his tally to 13 goals for the season.
Al-Hamadi, 21, has been in sensational form for the League Two side this season. A player with 11 Iraq caps, in which he scored three goals, he is catching the eye of a number of big Football League clubs.
According to South London Press journalist Edmund Brack, Leeds are keeping tabs on Al-Hamadi and have been for a few weeks now – with a fee north of £1m required. That interest will not have died down.
Indeed, Al-Hamadi cannot stop scoring goals. On Saturday, he netted his third brace in four League Two games, scoring twice as Wimbledon smashed Swindon Town to win 4-0. He has 13 goals in 23 games.
Not just 13 goals, either. Six assists alongside that. Nearly, a goal involvement every game he plays. A quite incredible record this term for a player of his age, that is also travelling to play for his country.

Is he good enough for Leeds? Well, he is scoring at a sensational rate as we approach the January window. Leeds are well-stocked up front and what is key for Al-Hamadi, is constantly playing games.
He is thriving in being a big name in a small pond at Wimbledon. His arrival would see him play back-up to the likes of Georginio Rutter, Joel Piroe and Patrick Bamford. But, if a couple leave, he could arrive.
Joe Gelhardt and Mateo Joseph might want to seek a loan move and Bamford’s future is up in the air – as he remains one of our best-paid players, but is struggling for minutes. We must consider Al-Hamadi.
