Leeds United went close to an immediate return to the Premier League in the 2023/24 campaign.

The Whites will now have to lick their wounds and return for another crack at promotion, with preparations made for the coming season.

So with pre-season just around the corner, here’s everything you need to know about Leeds United pre-season tour for summer 2024.

Where is Leeds United’s 2024 pre-season taking place?

Leeds United are set to travel to Germany for a pre-season trip this summer, following the conclusion of Euro 2024 in the nation.

The club have, however, revealed that matches will have to be played behind closed doors in the nation, stopping fans from making the journey over.

Last pre-season saw the Elland Road outfit spend time in Norway, Scotland and England to prepare for the campaign.

It is currently unconfirmed when the Leeds squad make their return to Thorp Arch for pre-season training.

The new Championship campaign starts on August 10th, 2024, giving The Whites some time to prepare for the new season.

Leeds United have confirmed two of their pre-season friendlies as of 01/07/2024, which is at either end of the camp.

The first match confirmed is a clash with Harrogate Town in mid-July, with the second clash coming against Valencia in early August.

Leeds United haven’t announced whether the pre-season friendlies will be available for broadcast over the summer.

The Whites have previously shown their summer matches on LUTV, which is expected to continue in the coming weeks.

Leeds have announced that fans won’t be able to attend their matches in Germany, with clashes taking part behind closed doors.

However, tickets are currently available for some other friendlies that will be played over the summer.
