Leeds United player Jayden Bogle receives some advice from Tony Dorigo after infuriating Elland Road icon on Sunday afternoon

Leeds United secured a 4-3 win over Swansea City on Sunday afternoon as Wilfried Gnonto popped up to score an injury-time winner, but only after Leeds had conceded in the 90th minute themselves.

Swansea had taken the lead twice but were pegged back by Leeds through Manor Solomon and a forced own goal, scored by Ben Cabango. Leeds then went in front, Solomon scoring a second from close range.

However. Florian Bianchini came off the bench to make it 3-3 with Swansea allowed to get a cross into the box with ease from the left flank. Luckily, Gnonto had also come on as a sub and he netted to win 4-3.

Tony Dorigo advice for Jayden Bogle after Leeds win at Swansea

It is not the first time Dorigo has questioned £5m signing Bogle. In the 1-0 loss to Burnley, Dorigo could not believe Bogle failed to engage Luca Koleosho, until it was too late and he scored the only goal to win.

Speaking to LUTV after Sunday’s win at Swansea, commentator Bryn Law asked Elland Road icon Dorigo if he had anything to say to the “right-back” following Swansea’s third goal that saw Bianchini equalise.

Law asked: “If you had one instruction for the right-back this evening, what would it be?” Dorigo replied on LUTV: “Stop the cross. Stop the cross, please. I don’t want to go into it again, but stop the cross.”

Jayden Bogle the Championship’s seventh-best right-back, so far

On his day, it is quite clear that Bogle is one of the division’s best right-backs. Huge experience at this level and in the Premier League, and Bogle has been promoted from the Championship in the past, too.

Bogle is not playing badly but it is eye-catching that his rating is below the in-form Ayling, the one he was supposed to replace at Elland Road having taken his no.2 shirt. As time goes on, he will surely improve.
