Leeds United currently have five players out on loan this season and with the second international break now here, it is a good time to see how they’ve been getting on.
The Whites have significantly less players out on loan in comparison to this time last year, after the 49ers did a good job of shifting some of the deadwood permanently.
Jack Harrison and Rasmus Kristensen were the only two members of the Premier League relegation squad to leave on loan for a second time.
Sam Greenwood and Darko Gyabi, meanwhile, are both in their second successive season at another Championship club, while Sonny Perkins has been given another chance in League One.
Here is a look at how they have got on so far.

Jack Harrison – Everton
It has not been a great start to the season for either Harrison or Everton, though they have shown signs of life in the last two matches.
After losing each of their opening four Premier League games, a £11m Harrison assist helped inspire a comeback victory over Crystal Palace last month.
However, Harrison has now gone eight months and 21 appearances without scoring, which for a player in his position is very worrying.
Rasmus Kristensen – Eintracht Frankfurt
In complete contrast to Harrison, Kristensen has been earning plenty of plaudits since joining Robin Koch at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Kristensen has played all but five of every minute across all competitions for Frankfurt so far this season, which has seen them lose just once on the opening day.
Arguably his best display came in the Europa League when he both scored and assisted in a 3-3 draw with Viktoria Plzen, with Kristensen actually having been brought off with the score at 3-1.
In what is amazing news for Leeds, Frankfurt have already decided to sign Kristensen permanently for a fee which could net them around £10 million.
Darko Gyabi – Plymouth Argyle
Gyabi was hit and miss on loan at Plymouth last season up until sustaining a knee injury in March, but he appears to be going from strength-to-strength under Wayne Rooney.
The 20-year-old has started all but one of Argyle’s league matches this season, with Rooney reserving special praise for Gyabi’s ball-carrying ability after an assist in a 3-1 win over Luton Town.
Plymouth assistant manager Pete Shuttleworth says Gyabi has the potential to become a ‘top player’ at this level and so it would appear this loan move is working exactly the way it should.
Sam Greenwood – Preston North End
Greenwood has not quite enjoyed the same level of success as Gyabi in his loan spell. A bit like at Middlesbrough, it looks as though he is really struggling to nail down a position.
Paul Heckingbottom has spoken highly of Greenwood since taking over as manager at Preston North End, but his straight red card in last month’s draw against Blackburn Rovers has seen him miss the last three.
The vast majority of Greenwood’s success so far has come in the Carabao Cup, scoring twice in a 5-0 at Harrogate Town, as well as two penalties in a shootout victory over Fulham.
Sonny Perkins – Leyton Orient
After a nightmare first half of the season at Oxford United last year, Perkins‘ time at Leyton Orient has been a slight improvement. That said, that’s not saying much.
Perkins has made six appearances in League One so far for Orient, but not a single one of those have come from the start.
His only starts have come in the cup competitions, one of which came at Premier League side Brentford, before being dragged off after 54 minutes. It looks like there is a lot of work to be done.
