With the 2023/24 Championship season coming to a close, Leeds United have a quick turnaround to prepare for the 2024/25 campaign.
Leeds were unable to make a return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, following promotion disappointment.
Daniel Farke was unable to secure a top-two finish in the league and had to traverse through the play-offs.
The Leeds boss managed to blast past Norwich City in the semi-finals, but Southampton awaited at Wembley Stadium.
The Whites were unable to beat the Saints, with Adam Armstrong’s first-half finish resulting in yet another year in the Championship.

When does the summer transfer window start?
The Championship summer transfer window opens on Friday, June 14th, 2024.
This will give Leeds and the rest of the English football pyramid the ability to sign, register and sell players.
When is the summer transfer deadline day?
Transfer deadline day in England has been set as August 30th, 2024.
This date has been moved forward from previous years, bringing it in line with other major European leagues.
Leeds United pre-season dates
Leeds United are yet to confirm when the players will return to training at Thorp Arch in the summer for pre-season.
Pre-season friendly fixtures will also be released in due course, so keep checking back for more information when it drops.
Championship fixture release date
The EFL will release the Championship fixture list on Wednesday, June 26th at 9am BST.
Leeds fans will be keeping a keen eye on the fixtures that are set for them, including those that start and end the season as well as the matches during the festive period.
Championship 2024/25 start date
The Championship 2024/25 season will start on August 10th, 2024, though it is currently unknown which team Leeds will play first.
When are the international breaks?
There are four standard international breaks across a season in the top two flights of English football, with three of those scheduled for the first half of the campaign and one in the latter stages.
They are as follows:

- November 11-19
- March 17-25
January transfer window dates
The January transfer window opens on January 1st, 2025, allowing Leeds to make any final changes to their squad.
The January transfer window closes on Monday, February 3rd, 2025.
When is the final day of the 2024/25 Championship season?
The final match of the Championship season will be on May 3rd, 2025, with teams all playing at the same time.
