Leeds United fans react as Largie Ramazani drops ‘huge’ hint on Instagram and it could be good news for Daniel Farke

Daniel Farke has had to tend plenty of injuries at Leeds United already this season, more than the club’s fair share but the German has still guided Leeds into the mix for automatic promotion.

Ethan Ampadu and llia Gruev remain long-term absentees at Elland Road, with the duo picking up knee injuries in back-to-back games against Coventry and Norwich. They are still set to be out for a while.

Ampadu did give an update on his injury and it is a positive one, but the chances are it will not be until late December that the Leeds skipper is fit again. A similar story for Bulgaria international Gruev.

This season, Max Wober, Gruev, Ampadu, Isaac Schmidt, Dan James, Manor Solomon, Joe Gelhardt and Patrick Bamford have all had to miss games through injury as has new signing Largie Ramazani.

Leeds fans react as Largie Ramazani drops Instagram hint

After an early goal against Watford, Ramazani limped off after suffering an ankle injury. It has kept the £10m man sidelined for a month, but it appears he is closing in on a return to action during the break.

Indeed, Ramazani dropped a hint on Instagram this week, posting a picture on his Instagram story of his boots on. Clearly, Ramazani is back on the grass and Leeds fans responded to the news on X:

Replying to the above post on X, a Leeds fan agreed by saying “100%” it was good news and that Leeds “need him” against Swansea next week. Another is hopeful he is back “after the international break”.

One posted: “Those boots were made for scoring”, with Ramazani currently sitting on three goals. One Leeds fan simply said: “Let’s hope he’s not far away from a return”.

Leeds fans continued to reply in their drones, with another posting a one-word response of “huge”. One fan even said that’s “Leeds’ first-choice winger right there”.

Does Largie Ramazani start when all Leeds wingers are fit?

There is no doubt that Wilfried Gnonto has gone off the boil slightly after winning the club’s September Player of the Month award while Manor Solomon is miles off the player he knows he can be and will be.

The table above shows that in terms of numbers, Ramazani is already producing a goal or assist nearly every game – far more than his rival wingers. Despite only playing 436 minutes, he has four involvements.

If Ramazani is fit to play against Swansea on November 24, the chances are he will start on the bench but Daniel Farke might be well-advised to throw the £10m man in from the off down in North Wales.
