Anton Stach has hit the ground running at Leeds United with his impressive pre-season performance and knack for a hilarious social media post.

The 6ft 4in midfielder got himself a rating of 9/10 following Leeds’ pre-season fixtures, impressing fans and teammates.

He also appears to share key traits of another Leeds legend, for his work on the pitch and cheeky behaviour, Mateusz Klich.

After Leeds’ pre-season game versus AC Milan, Stach posted an image of himself as one of the Beatles, recreating the famous Abbey Road album cover. He captioned the post ‘Pre-season crossed. Next stop: Premier League,’ and fans loved it.

And now he’s at it again with his funny yet random social media posts.

Anton Stach’s latest Instagram post leaves fans in hysterics

Anton Stach is making quite a name for himself already at Elland Road with his eccentric social media posts.

Ahead of Leeds’ opener versus Everton this evening, Stach shared a post on Instagram that fans couldn’t help but love.

One fan commented: “That means he’ll fit in with 36k+ mental people in the stands.”

Another fan said: “I was laughing when I saw this earlier, very random.”

One fan commented: “Love it.”

How Everton’s injuries will play into Anton Stach’s performance

A goal on Stach’s Premier League debut, particularly against a rival like Everton, would be the perfect way to introduce himself to the home crowd.

This kind of immediate impact would resonate deeply with fans, confirming their hopes that he is a key player who can bring the same “energy” he spoke about after his pre-season goal into the new campaign.

A goal would be the ultimate validation of the club’s significant investment in him and would make him a firm fan favourite from day one.

Furthermore, Stach’s physical and all-action style of play could be a significant advantage against an Everton side dealing with a number of key injuries, particularly in defence.

With Jarrad Branthwaite ruled out and several others listed as doubts, Everton will be fielding a makeshift backline. This defensive instability could be exploited by Stach, who has shown he can push forward and contribute to attacks.

The absence of key defensive players for Everton could also open up space, allowing Stach to assert his dominance in an attacking capacity as well as his traditional defensive duties.
