Wales manager Rob Page has announced his 26-man squad for the upcoming international break and Leeds United winger Daniel James has been selected.

It is a return to the Wales squad for the Leeds attacker as he was not selected for the last international break back in September.

The squad announced for the upcoming matches is strong and one of the matches is huge as Wales face Croatia in a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier.

It is great to see Dan James back in the Wales squad and it shows that he has been performing well for Leeds lately.

Daniel James’ good form for Leeds sees him back in Wales squad

It wasn’t the best start to the season for James as he struggled to make an impact for Leeds but over the last four games, he has massively improved.

In the four games, he has picked up three assists, whilst Leeds have won three of the games and lost one to help push them further up the table. Manager Daniel Farke has called the player ‘excellent‘.

This has no doubt been part of the reason for his return to the Wales squad and hopefully his good form will continue over the international break.

This would no doubt give him good momentum to come back to Leeds and continue to thrive like he has been over the last month.

When is the international break?

The upcoming international break begins on October 9th 2023. James will be available for selection for Leeds in their upcoming fixtures against QPR and Bristol City and then he will head off to international duty with Wales.

Leeds’ first fixture after the international break will be on October 21st and it will be against Norwich City in the Championship.

No doubt all associated with Leeds will be keeping an eye on the winger over the course of the international break.
